Paul
studied Music at Chethams School of Music, the Colchester Institute
and the Royal College of Music, gaining the Cannon Jack Award for solo
recital and the Stephen's Award.
Composer
Musical compositions include: Bunter
(Northcotte), Dinosaur (Canada),
Shake the Nation, (Southend, Liverpool,
Spitalfields Festival, and SCM Notting Hill) and Esther
(Spitalfields Festival). Other scores include the ballet City
Slick and musical Ello, Ello,
Ello (Oldham Coliseum)

Previously for the Oxford Playhouse Paul has written the following pantomimes:
Dick Whittington (1996), Jack
and the Beanstalk (1997), Cinderella
(1998), Sleeping Beauty (1999),
Aladdin (2000), Mother
Goose (2001) and, currently, Puss
'n' Boots (opening December 2002)
Musical
Director
Four national tours with the Whirligig
Theatre Company. Other credits include: Into
the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors,
Jacques Brel is..., Goodnight
Mr. Tom, Marry Me a Little,
Godspell, Applause,
Sweet Charity and endless pantos
and revues. He arranged and MD'd the hit show Shout
which played at Jermyn Street. He was also Musical Supervisor and Arranger
on the world premiere of Spot's Birthday
Party
Actor/Musician
Paul appeared as actor/musician in a number
of shows including Here's a How Dee Doo
which had a West End run, toured Canada and was serialised on Radio
2, Grimsley and Tibbs, Champagne
Charlie, and both the 1989 and 1999 versions of Forbidden
Broadway at the Jermyn Street and Albery Theatres. TV and
film credits include A Night on the Town,
Campion, and Handel's
Resurrection.
He
has appeared as soloist and accompanist in the UK and Europe and has
performed in venues such as Wembley Arena and the Brussels Cathedral.
He conducted Waltons The Bear
and the first performance for 50 years of The
English Ring. Paul has broadcast on Radio 2's The
Pianist Entertains, and Friday
Night is Music Night, and works regularly with Noel Tredinnick
and the All Souls Orchestra.
